I’m Chris Toomer, the Stingrays’ Team Photographer.  I had a blast this last weekend at Bow Mar taking pictures of all the Stingrays!  In all, I captured about 1000 images.  As you can imagine, I couldn’t possibly fine tune every image to look it’s best.  Rest assured, they can be cropped, brightened, and enhanced.  The photo site I’m using has a 30-day Satisfaction Guaranteed policy. If you aren’t happy with your purchase, send it back.  

I use 2 cameras: a 15MP and an 18MP that can shoot up to 8 frames per second.  Images this size can easily make a stunning 16 x 20 and an awesome 20 x 30 poster print.  They can also make uploads last hours.  I upload smaller, 50KB images and, upon purchase, I upload the full sized 5MB to 8MB image for printing.

Because photos are expensive to purchase, I have come up with the following:           

 1.      I’ve discounted the prices as much as I can and still pay for the site and cover a few expenses;

 2.      I’ve given you the option to purchase the digital image so you can share it and print it as much as you want;

 3.      I’ve created a further discount if you buy 5 downloads, you get the 6^th free. 

I strongly recommend you take advantage of the Image Download option.  On the site, a 16 x 20 print costs $24.99.  At Costco, they’re about $5.99.  I have a 16 x 20 print of my daughter and it is awesome!  Seriously, download the image, and go to Costco (or Sam’s if you prefer). If there is an image you aren’t sure about and want me to crop or enhance it, send me the image name and the gallery it is in.  I’ll enhance it and repost for your consideration.

I do my best to capture everybody, but with 212 swimmers, it’s tough.  If you want a special image of yourself or your swimmer(s), please talk to me.  Tell me the event they’re swimming, and what you’re looking to see.  I’ll do my best. 

I have organized the photos on the site to try and make it easier for you to find ones in which you are interested.  Swimming images are by event type or stroke:  Relays, Freestyle, Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, IMs, etc.  Also, I have a “Coaches at Bow Mar” gallery which includes images of the coaching staff swimming and coaching.  The “Bow Mar Swimmers” gallery includes portrait style photos of many of the swimmers in the Heating Area or waiting to swim. There are some really nice photos in there.  I also have a gallery to which I add images from the practices called “Fun at Swim Practice”.
