1.  This position is assigned by the Parent Reps annually on a first-come, first-served basis.  Age group parents must have at least one year prior experience with the Stingrays.

2. The Age Group Parent is responsible for planning one “Age Group Activity” per season.  The age group parent will coordinate with the Parent Reps regarding the date and logistics of the planned activity.  The primary objective of the age group activity should be to encourage team and new friendship development among the kids in the age group.  The cost of the event must be budget neutral—any cost associated with the activity should be reasonable and paid by the parents.

3. The Age Group Parent is responsible for planning, soliciting items for, and preparing a “Silent Auction Basket” on behalf of their age group.  We encourage the use of a theme for the Silent Auction basket items, based on the age/interests of children in your age group.  The basket must be prepared in time for the 1^st Annual Stingrays Silent Auction, to be held on Wednesday, June 8th.    

4.  The Age Group Parent is responsible for planning and soliciting items for prelim “Goody Bags”.  Ideas for goody bags could include: Gatorade, snacks, swimming-themed tattoos, bag tags, small toys, etc.  Use your imagination to come up with small, fun items the kids can enjoy at their prelim meet.  Ask parents in your age-group to donate the items.   

5.  This volunteer position satisfies all volunteer requirements for the season.
