By now you may have heard a rumor that the RMSL Finals will not be at Stonegate in 2010.  Unfortunately, that rumor is true.  The parent reps have been advised by the Stonegate Village Metro District that during the permit approval process for the pool remodel project, the SVMD agreed with Douglas County that Stonegate would be allowed to host the RMSL Championship Finals meet only every other year.  Beginning in 2010, Stonegate will host the RMSL Finals only on the odd years.  We were obviously very disappointed to learn of this development, as we took great pride in the wonderful RMSL Finals meets that our team had hosted over the years.  We believe we have the best volunteers and finest pool facility in the League, and were looking forward to showing off our remodeled pool to the RMSL in 2010.  The League has promised Stonegate a prelim meet in 2010, although they do not yet know which prelim meet will be assigned to us.  At this point it appears that Stonegate will host either the 8 & Under Prelim on Monday, July 12, or the 13-18 Prelim on Tuesday, July 13.  CCV will host the RMSL Finals in 2010.
